If you live within 1 mile of a pharmacy, you can usually collect your signed prescription from the surgery the next working day. You can also ask us to send it to the pharmacy of your choice. Please allow time for Royal Mail to deliver it.
Pharmacies in Gillingham
We have an arrangement with the pharmacies in Gillingham so that patients who do not qualify under the 1 mile rule can collect their repeat prescriptions there.
To use this service, contact us before midday on Friday and tell the dispenser which pharmacy in Gillingham you would like your prescription sent to: Peacemarsh, High Street or The Barn.
Boots in Wincanton
We can also send prescriptions to Boots in Wincanton by post. This can take a few days to reach the pharmacy.
Community pharmacies usually only dispense items once they have received the original prescription.
