A patient participation group (PPG) is a small group of patients registered with a GP surgery who represent the views of its patients. The surgery works with its PPG to improve its services and to get patients’ views on key decisions.
Patient involvement is a high priority in the NHS. Each PPG is unique and develops to meet local needs. Our PPG works with the surgery to:
- offer a patient perspective on the services we provide
- contribute to the continuous improvement of our services
- improve communication between the surgery and its patients
- help patients take more responsibility for their health
- provide practical support and help put changes in place
Join our Patient Participation Group
All registered patients can join our PPG. We encourage people of all genders, ages and ethnicities, and people with health conditions and disabilities, to join. As far as possible, members should represent the surgery’s patients.
To join:
- phone the surgery on 01747 840226
- return a completed sign-up form to the surgery
We send questionnaires to members by email.
