Practice nurse appointments are divided into time slots:
- early morning appointments are for blood tests, so samples can be sent to the hospital laboratory for testing the same day
- later morning appointments, after 11:30am, are for other routine appointments
- there are late afternoon and early evening appointments on Tuesdays
Telephone advice
Practice nurses are not usually available to take phone calls. Reception staff will pass on your messages and requests for advice or information, and the nurses will respond when they are available.
